The Microsoft Virtualization Community Launch is an exclusive opportunity to work directly with Microsoft to host your own launch event around Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V, Microsoft System Center and Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack for Software Assurance. The Community Launch program provides the technical training and launch support resources to showcase some of the technical features of these products within your local community.

I’m looking for three individuals from our user group to become the part of this Community Launch Leader (including myself as one of the three). Once selected will go through this exclusive program and will be responsible for planning and managing Microsoft Virtualization Events for TECHIES in the UAE. Once the leaders are selected then I’ll pass more details about this program.

· Work directly with Microsoft product groups and subject matter experts to lead a launch event in your local community.

What we are looking for in a Community Launch leader:

· In addition to yourself, we are looking for the new or existing leaders in your group or club who are eager and able to lead a technical demo and product presentation as part of a Microsoft Virtualization Energy event they host.

· Individuals who are interested in (and capable of) presenting technical training to broader audiences.

· Leaders who want to sharpen their speaking and technical presentation skills.

Enrollment:

Once enrolled in the Community Launch Portal, community leaders will gain instant access to valuable resources, event readiness guidance and support on the Microsoft Virtualization Events.
Special offers and additional services for our community launch leaders will be added throughout the launch cycle.

Training:

High Level training available immediately after enrollment
A premium-class technical training experience with more training added between enrollment and January 2009.
